
Team Leader
Catherine is a partner and team leader of All About Physio based at Nerang, Kingscliff, Burleigh and Benora.
Catherine graduated from the University of Queensland in 1994 and later completed her Masters in Pain Management from Kings College London. She is also the co-founder of the Association of Foot & Ankle Physiotherapists (AFAP), a not-for-profit charity aimed at increasing education and research in the area.
Since graduating, Catherine has gained experience in a broad range of acute, sub-acute and chronic musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions in both private and public settings here in Australia and in the UK. Catherine was an Extended Scope Practitioner in the UK, working alongside Orthopaedic Surgeons to undertake advanced diagnosis, investigation and management of spinal and lower-limb conditions.
Since returning from the UK, Catherine has worked for the Northern Private Pain Clinic, the largest specialist private pain clinic in Sydney. Currently, she works at All About Physio, and also undertakes research with the Pain Management Research Institute (University of Sydney). She is an invited lecturer for the Doctorate of Physiotherapy, Macquarie University and examiner on the MSc in Medicine (Pain Management), through the University of Sydney.
She loves working with Pilates including teaching classes and 1:1, and teaching other physiotherapists. On the weekends, you will find Catherine having fun with her two adorable young boys.
